HOTELREVIEWS

Reviews of City Hotel Pilvax Budapest

Review by: Andrew Soreanu, Beersheba, Israel

Stayed: Aug 2009

The hotel is situated on a quiet street very close to the most famous promenade of Budapest with plenty of shops and restaurants. As for the hotel itself it is a little bit old with worn out furniture. The main problem is the lack of an elevator so the guests take their lugages up to the second floor.
The excellent location, the nice personell and the attractive price makes this hotel a candidate for a come back stay.

Excellent location in the centre of town, handy for the metro and the nightlife. Quiet pedestrianised street, resonably sized rooms. Friendly staff who don't charge extra to use the safe deposit boxes, and even allowed us to keep the box after the check out time on the day of our departure. Helpful tips on local attractions. Top service. Would stay again!

This hotel is in an ideal position because it is within easy walking distance of all the main sights. the service was excellent and the staff were very helpful when my husband was unwell. There was a little street noise but it didn't bother us. Great value would certainly recommend it
