Hotel Borgo Verde

This is a modern hotel comprising of four small buildings and a terrace set amid palm trees, cacti and lush gardens on the outskirts of Catania. The town centre is five kilometres from the hotel, and Mount Etna, an active volcano, is 15 km away.

The 30 air conditioned guest rooms are decorated in light colours with wooden floors, and furnished in pale wood with patterned fabrics and stone-tiled bathrooms. Each room has a terrace or view of the garden, and is equipped with a minibar, multi-channel TV and a safe. Guests can also benefit from Internet access and bathrooms with bathrobes, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Buffet breakfast can be taken al fresco beneath the gazebo, and there is a bar where guests can enjoy a cocktail or coffee. The front desk is open around the clock and can arrange services including fax, photocopying, airport transfers and guided tours around the town and the area, and there is free parking on site.
