Grand Hotel Excelsior

This hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva amidst spectacular scenery and within walking distance of the town centre.

The exterior of the hotel is impressive and has been kept in it's traditional style.
The hotel's three restaurants are all very grand and offer a wide variety of cuisine at a very high standard.
The interior of the hotel is in keeping with the exterior and is of a magnificent traditional style. This hotel is one of the few remaining 'Grand hotels' and although it has undergone a lot of renovations they have managed to retain all it's former glory. There is a large reception/lounge area decorated in regency style overlooking the lake. A lot of huge oil paintings and antique furniture create a truly regal scene.
The rooms vary in size owing to the old style of the building but none of them vary in standard. They are all individually furnished in a traditional style and equipped with all the facilities that one would expect of a hotel of this standard. As this hotel is also used as a health resort it offers extensive types of these sort of facilities.
