Traditional, centrally located with about a ten minute walk from the Central Station. The Doria Hotel is a first class hotel, located in the historical and commercial centre of Rome, close to Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most famous and beautiful basilicas. The hotel is built on an ancient palace, yet retains all modern comfort and convenience. Clean, comfortable and well furnished guest rooms are well appointed. Hotel is minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment. (There is a chargeable car park nearby)

As of Jan 2011 Rome is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure, excluding hostel and charged up to 10 nights. € 3.00 per person/per night for 5* and 4* hotels and € 2.00 per person/per night for 3*, 2* and 1* hotels.
